Barking Bowls supports programs through local libraries connecting parents, kids, educators, and the canine heroes that exist in every community.

The ‘read to a dog’ literacy program.

Children read aloud to specially trained therapy dogs giving them an opportunity for a safe, non-judgmental environment to improve reading skills and foster a life-long love for reading. A portion of every sale from barking bowls will be donated to ‘read to a dog’ literacy programs.

And let’s not forget our wobbly,

hard of hearing, seeing challenged, slower and quirkier as they age, senior dogs. Whether adopting a senior dog or finding permanent foster homes for these seniors, Barking Bowls will donate, kibble by kibble, a portion of our sales to organizations who provide shelter, medical care, and a loving home for these dogs in their final years.
